not that i blame him, though. kalau tgk abang aku pun, kdg2 aku x percaya gak yg dia ni ada unsur2 health conscious. ni pun satu sifat manusia la ni. tgk nasihat tu dtg drpd siapa. err i do that too sometimes. kalau aku rasa org yg bg nasihat tu pun x berapa betul, aku pun was2 nak ikut nasihat dia. sepatutnya kita ikut je la nasihat tu kan, regardless who gave it. as if kita sume ni maksum.

along the same lines, recently ada kawan2 aku berasa musykil dgn kerja kami. what if the invention's related to liquor, gambling, etc.? if we cleared the application, have we committed a sin? aaa ntah la, sbb aku personally x pernah dpt benda2 mcm ni, so i don't really have a firm stand on it. mungkin bila aku dpt, i'll revise my opinion hehe.

tapi bg aku, what we're doing is approving the technology behind the invention, not the invention per se. it's really up to the inventor / applicant to decide what to do with it. err kira x bert/jawab la kan? like one of my friends said, kalau invention tu sgt berfaedah kpd manusia, tapi org salahgunakan utk benda2 haram, bukan kita yg bert/jawab nak hentikan. another man's invention may be another man's weapon, who knows?

tulah, ini hanya pendapat aku. ada org ckp better tanya ustaz. err nak tanya pd yg x paham apa kami buat pun susah gak (what i wrote is not even a gist of how an invention is granted) (and err not i'm undermining ustaz's credibility). dibuatnya terkeluar statement yg not to our favor, mau collapse dept aku ni.

pernah dgr org ckp kalau kerja x berkat, hidup mesti susah hati je. erk aku rasa aku kdg2 susah hati gak, adakah kerana ini?
